Bernalillo County is reaching out to its community members for input on the future of its Water Conservation Program. The county plans to update its Water Conservation Plan and has scheduled three open houses to collect feedback from residents who own private wells or are served by water systems other than the Water Authority.

The Water Conservation Program staff will be present at these events to gather public input on various topics, including proposed educational initiatives, incentive programs, and potential updates to BernCo’s Water Conservation Ordinance. Community involvement is crucial for ensuring the sustainability and resilience of local water resources. Spanish interpretation services will be available at all events.

For those unable to attend in person, feedback can also be submitted through an online survey available on the county's website.
