On February 14, 2025, Rep. Stansbury tweeted about concluding the annual 'Valentines for Vets' event at the Albuquerque VA. She expressed gratitude towards participants and veterans, stating, "We are back in Albuquerque & just wrapped up our annual ‘Valentines for Vets’ events at the Albuquerque VA! Thank you to everyone who helped and to our Veterans for your service." She also mentioned ongoing concerns with the federal workforce.

Later that day, she shared another post regarding a tradition involving local elementary school students creating Valentine's Day cards for veterans. In her tweet from February 14, 2025, she stated, "One of my favorite traditions is delivering Valentine’s Day cards to our veterans from elementary school kids in the district!" She noted that they visited schools to collect and deliver these cards to the VA.

On February 15, 2025, Rep. Stansbury addressed recent mass-terminations affecting federal workers by announcing legal action against these dismissals. Her tweet read: "To all impacted by this week’s reckless mass-terminations, a class action suit has been filed to stop unlawful terminations." She emphasized support for federal employees facing these challenges.
