Bernalillo County is outlining its project requests to state lawmakers during the ongoing 60-day legislative session. The county has identified key priorities for 2025, focusing on affordable housing, behavioral health care, public safety, early childhood education, and expanding its animal care facility. Each of the five districts within the county has also set specific legislative goals.

District 3, under the representation of BernCo Board of Commissioners Vice Chair Adriann Barboa, is largely located within Albuquerque's city limits. This district stretches along the east side of Interstate 25 from the city's southernmost to northernmost points. Known as New Mexico's most densely populated area, District 3 includes a variety of neighborhoods with diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

For further details on Bernalillo County’s District 3 resources and infrastructure projects, additional information is available online.
