The City of Albuquerque has announced an upcoming electronic election to fill a vacancy on the Personnel Board. City employees have the opportunity to nominate candidates for this position by submitting a petition to the Office of the City Clerk.

According to the announcement, only permanent City employees are eligible to nominate candidates for the election. The nomination process requires detailed information about the nominee, including their name, address, telephone number, email, occupation, and certification of residency in Albuquerque for at least one year. Additionally, the petition must be supported by the signatures of twenty permanent City employees.

It is important to note that city employees and elected public officials are not eligible candidates for this election. Nominating petitions must be submitted to the Office of the City Clerk located at 600 2nd Street NW, Suite 720. The deadline for submitting completed Nominating Petitions is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2024. Electronic petitions will not be accepted for this election.
