This summer, Camp BioPark offers an opportunity for children to explore the natural world through interactive and educational activities. The camp is designed for students from kindergarten to ninth grade and runs weeklong sessions from June 2 to July 25.

Camp BioPark is divided into age-specific sessions, each tailored to provide meaningful engagement with science:

- Discover! (Grades K-1) includes guided walks, crafts, and animal tours.

- Explore! (Grades 2-3) features bug explorations, marine animal investigations, and interactive games.

- Adventure! (Grades 4-6) involves full-day excursions with behind-the-scenes tours and animal encounters.

- Investigate! (Grades 7-9) offers hands-on research opportunities with insights from BioPark experts on topics like animal care and ecology.

For students in grades 2 through 9, each session includes at least one behind-the-scenes tour. Activities range from butterfly discovery to biology treks along the Rio Grande.

Registration opens online on March 5, 2025, at 9 a.m., operating on a first-come, first-served basis. Interested parties can register via their ASAP account or call for assistance at 505-764-6214.

Members of the New Mexico BioPark Society receive a 10% discount on camps. Refunds are available if requested four weeks before the start date of the class, subject to a $25 processing fee per class/child. No refunds will be issued within four weeks of the camp's commencement.

Further details about dates and times can be found on the Camp BioPark page.
