The Albuquerque Police Department has linked Angelique Silva to another fitness center theft that occurred in December of 2023. Silva, 43, was identified as the suspect in multiple cases where she targeted fitness center locker rooms, stealing items such as credit cards, vehicle keys, and even victims' vehicles.

According to APD, Silva was originally charged with a list of offenses including burglary, unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, felony larceny, fraudulent use of a credit card, theft of a credit card, criminal damage, and misdemeanor larceny. She was taken into custody on March 1, 2024, after an arrest warrant was issued.

Detectives were able to connect Silva to a similar case that took place at a fitness center in northwest Albuquerque late last year. As a result, additional charges have been filed against Silva, including burglary, unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, fraudulent use of a credit card, theft of a credit card, larceny, and conspiracy.

Individuals who suspect they may have been victims of Silva are urged to contact 242-COPS or make a report online.
