Bernalillo County has joined forces with the New Mexico Environment Department, New Mexico Department of Health, and the New Mexico Office of the State Engineer to present a FREE Well Owner Workshop for East Mountain residents on Saturday, October 15, from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the James McGrane Public Safety Complex in Tijeras.
Attendees will learn about:
- Water quality testing
- Drinking water contaminants
- Water rights
- Well permitting and tagging
- East Mountain groundwater resources
- Financial incentives for water conservation
