Here is our chance to celebrate our BCACS Enforcement Team during National Animal Control Appreciation Week and all this week we will be recognizing the difficult, emotional, lifesaving work our compassionate officers do every day in Bernalillo County.
Help us say to say thank you and show appreciation to our Animal Services Officers who are dedicated to helping keep Bernalillo County safe and protect the furry, feathered animals who need them the most. It's a job that takes a lot of heart and dedication.
This amazing group of individuals is busy all day, week, and month long! Call after call, these Animal Services Officers respond to reports of injured, ill, or abandoned dogs. Don't forget the staff behind the scenes, nothing is possible without the Enforcement Manager, Administrative Staff, and Dispatcher.
We are fortunate to have such incredible caring and talented staff both in the field and in our shelter for the people and pets in our community.
We couldn't be more proud of the work they do! We appreciate all Animal Control Officers out there. We know it's not an easy job some of the time and "thank you" is never enough, but know you are making a difference in the lives of animals and individuals every day.
Don't forget to join us daily as we highlight our team along with share important tips this #NationalDogBitePreventionWeek.
