Bernalillo County Animal Care Services will present various dogs of different ages, sizes, and breeds at two adoption events this weekend. The first event will take place on Saturday, March 29, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Main Event, located at 4040 Pan American Fwy NE. Participants will have a chance to enter a raffle for a Family 4-Pack provided by Main Event, which includes activities such as bowling, laser tag, and arcade play.
For those who cannot attend on Saturday, another opportunity will be available on Sunday, March 30, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Winrock PetSmart, 2100 Louisiana Blvd. NE.
According to Bernalillo County Animal Care Services, adoptions are free, with donations being voluntary. All pets are vaccinated to age, microchipped, spayed or neutered, and include a one-year pet license. Contributions benefit Bernalillo County’s Quality of Life Community Fund, aiding thousands of homeless animals.
Potential adopters can view the available animals at Adopt-a-Pet or in person at the facility located at 3001 2nd St. SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105. Adoption viewing hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
