The Bernalillo County Board of Registration has completed its review of voter rolls, fulfilling its responsibility to maintain accurate voter registration records. The meeting took place at the Bernalillo County Clerk’s Office in Alvarado Square and was conducted in accordance with New Mexico state election laws.

Clerk Michelle Kavanaugh stated, "The Board of Registration plays an essential role in safeguarding the electoral process by ensuring that voter registration records are current and compliant with state law." She emphasized that this work supports Bernalillo County's dedication to transparent, efficient, and secure elections.

The five-member board is appointed by the Bernalillo County Commission. Its duties include reviewing voter registration records and directing the cancellation of outdated registrations. These actions help ensure fair elections and uphold the county's mission of providing professional public service.

The Bernalillo County Clerk’s Office continues to focus on voter access, election integrity, and public confidence. Voter registration is open year-round, allowing residents to verify their status or register by visiting BerncoClerk.gov or calling 505-468-1291.

Board members include Janice Arnold-Jones, Christine Marie Sierra, Karlyne Nordholm, Clint Whisonant, and Chair Alexander Adams who participated remotely.
