On January 29, 2025, Stansbury commented on a shift in the Republican Party's stance regarding support for school lunch programs. "Ok, so you think hungry kids should just go out and get jobs? What has happened to the Republican Party!? When I passed a school lunch bill in 2020, it passed unanimously with full GOP support. This is not normal."
The following day, January 30, she expressed disapproval over an unspecified action affecting military personnel. "This is an absolute betrayal of our Service Members and everyone who proudly serves."
Later that same day, she conveyed condolences regarding a tragic accident involving a flight from Wichita to Washington D.C., thanking first responders at the scene.
