Bernalillo County sets legislative agenda for 2025 session

Bernalillo County, New Mexico – The Bernalillo County Board of Commissioners has approved an administrative resolution outlining the county's legislative priorities for the upcoming 2025 New Mexico Legislature. This session is set to begin in January and will last for 60 days.

The priorities reflect key policies and budget items identified by county personnel as critical among the various programs and services offered to the community. These are aimed at supporting strategic goals and enhancing the quality of life for residents.

The Board, along with county staff and lobbyists, plans to advocate for these priorities during the legislative process. The resolution was passed unanimously with a 5-0 vote.
