Mountain View residents are invited to a community meeting on Tuesday, December 3, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Mountain View Elementary School. The meeting aims to discuss plans for a neighborhood park and gather input on its potential location and amenities.

This event follows the September 25 Community Conversation and will highlight feedback collected through that gathering, outreach activities, and a community survey. The focus will be on features and amenities for the proposed Mountain View Community Park, which has received $1 million in funding from the Board of County Commissioners.

“BernCo is committed to creating a park that reflects the community’s vision and needs,” said Danette Townsend, deputy county manager of Community Services. “This meeting offers another opportunity to hear from residents, address concerns, and work together to shape Mountain View’s future.”

Residents can expect to review survey responses concerning preferences for walking trails, playgrounds, shade structures, and splash pads. There will also be discussions about accessibility, safety, recreational programming, and other community concerns. Participants will have the chance to rank priorities and outline next steps for the park.

Community members are encouraged to share their ideas regarding park features and recreational programming. For those unable to attend in person, the Mountain View Community Park Survey remains open.
