Barbara Baca Commission Chair | County of Bernalillo
Bernalillo County has announced the appointment of Robbie McCormick as the new director of Emergency Communications. In her new role, McCormick will manage operations, personnel, and strategic initiatives for 911 Emergency Communications.
McCormick brings a wealth of experience from her career in public safety and leadership roles. She has worked in various positions across Texas and Georgia before returning to New Mexico. Her most recent position was as deputy director at Cobb County Department of Emergency Communications in Metro Atlanta. Before that, she was the Training and Development coordinator for Tarrant County 911 District in Fort Worth, Texas.
McCormick's career began in Eddy County, New Mexico, in 2009. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences and Criminal Justice and a Master of Science in Education (MSE), along with numerous certifications.
She is scheduled to start her new position on January 13.
