The Albuquerque City Council has approved a new project involving Mesa Film Studios, LLC. The project is part of the Local Economic Development Act and City Ordinance F/S O-04-10, which aims to support local economic growth through various initiatives.

Sponsored by Louie Sanchez and Klarissa Pena, the ordinance authorizes several actions to facilitate the acquisition, construction, and improvement of sound stage studios and related facilities in Albuquerque. These developments are intended to bolster the operations and productions of Mesa Film Studios, LLC.

The council's decision includes the execution of a Project Participation Agreement and other necessary documents related to the project. The ordinance also involves making certain determinations and findings about the project's funding appropriation. It ratifies previous actions taken concerning this initiative while repealing any actions inconsistent with the new ordinance.

"Approving a project involving Mesa Film Studios, LLC pursuant to the Local Economic Development Act and City Ordinance F/S O-04-10," states the official document.
