The Intragovernmental Conference Committee (ICC) of Albuquerque has announced a public hearing to gather input on proposed new rules and regulations. The ICC, which oversees the separation of powers within the city, encourages residents, community stakeholders, and other interested parties to participate in shaping these policies.

The public hearing is scheduled for Monday, September 9, 2024, at 11:00 am during the ICC's regular monthly meeting on Zoom. During this session, the committee will consider, discuss, and potentially take action on the proposed rules and regulations.

The proposed rules and regulations will be available for public viewing on the City Clerk's website and at the Office of the City Clerk in Plaza Del Sol Building from one week before the meeting date. The office is located at 600 Second Street NW, 7th Floor, Albuquerque, NM 87102.

Public comments are welcome both in person and via email until 9:00 am on the day of the meeting. Submissions should be emailed to Cristobal Rocha at [email protected] with "Public Comment: Proposed ICC Rules and Regulations" as the subject line. These comments will be distributed to ICC members for consideration.

For those requiring accommodations due to disabilities to attend or participate in the meeting—such as sign language interpretation or accessible documents—please contact Cristobal Rocha at 505-767-5873 at least five days prior to the meeting.
