Don't forget! Bernalillo County Parks, Recreation and Open Space is still offering lifeguard classes. The next session is from March 20 - 24 (9 a.m. - 2 p.m. or 3 - 8 p.m.), and applicants must meet the following requirements:- Must be 15 years of age by the last class and;- Attend all classes;- Perform a 300-yard swim;- Bring a swimsuit;- Must be able to retrieve a 10lb brick from the bottom of the pool (10ft).After that, there's only one more session left from April 10 - 14. This will be the last chance for the season, so if you're interested be sure to sign up!For questions, refer to the contact information below.
