We want to wish everyone a happy and safe 4th of July! As we celebrate this weekend, if you decide to buy and light fireworks, we wanted to supply some simple fire safety rules!
1. Buy your fireworks within Bernalillo County to be sure they are approved.
2. Have a water source nearby and ready.
3. Don’t light fireworks in wilderness areas. You need to be 100 feet away from areas were most of the ground is vegetation.
