Clerk Linda Stover announces the start of in-person absentee voting and same-day registration.
The Clerk’s Annex, located at 1500 Lomas NW in Albuquerque, will be open for in-person absentee voting and same-day registration Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., May 10 through May 20, 2022. Additional locations will be available for the start of early voting and the continuation of same-day registration from May 21 through June 4, 2022.
Starting May 10, the Clerk’s office will begin mailing absentee ballots to those who have requested them. If you haven’t requested an absentee ballot and would like to request one, there are three ways to do it:
1. You can fill out an application on BerncoVotes.org and submit it online.
2. You can download the application, fill it out and mail it to the Clerk’s Office.
3. You can call 505-243-VOTE (8683) to request an application.
The last day to request an absentee ballot for the New Mexico Primary Election is June 2, 2022.
