Bernalillo County issued the following announcement on Dec. 31.
Recent changes in the state public health order allow Bernalillo County to reopen the Rio Grande indoor pool on a limited basis beginning Monday, Jan. 4.
The pool will only allow 4 swimmers per hour. Swimmers will be asked to exit the pool 15 minutes before the hour ends to allow for visitor showers and pool area disinfecting.
Swimmers will not be allowed to make reservations on consecutive days. Example: swim can be scheduled Monday, Wednesday, and Friday or Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Reservations cannot be made for two days in a row.
Lap swim is allowed by reservation only.

- Limited swimmers in facilities
- No spectators
- Social distancing will be observed
- M – F: 6 – 9 a.m., 12 – 3 p.m.
- Saturday: 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
