The University of New Mexico (UNM) has launched "The Pack Has Your Back," an initiative aimed at enhancing the well-being of its campus community. This program is designed to provide students, faculty, and staff with access to resources that support academic success, mental health, financial stability, and overall well-being.

"The Pack Has Your Back" will distribute healthy snacks and uplifting messages this week on both sides of Lomas. These distributions are made possible by a donation from UNM Food. The locations for these events include the SUB/Cornell Mall on Tuesday, March 11, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the Yale Mall South Bus Stop on Wednesday, March 12, during the same hours.

In addition to this initiative, UNM offers year-round support services such as Student Health & Counseling (SHAC), which provides medical and mental health services including crisis intervention; LoboRESPECT Advocacy Center for personal hardship assistance; Lobo Food Pantry for free food and nutrition support; Career Services for résumé building and job search resources; Employee Wellness Program for faculty and staff health support; and Financial Aid & Scholarship Support for guidance on scholarships and financial aid.

A comprehensive list of available services can be accessed through the university's website.
