The University of New Mexico (UNM) is set to host its fourth annual State of Research event on March 12 at 4 p.m. in PAIS 1100. Organized by the Office of the Vice President for Research, this gathering aims to showcase the research achievements and innovations of UNM's faculty, staff, and students.
According to the announcement, "this event serves as a pivotal platform for showcasing the remarkable contributions of our research community," with an emphasis on collaborative efforts that aim to create new knowledge and benefit surrounding communities.
A highlight of this year's event will be a town hall panel Q&A session featuring several leaders from UNM. Participants include Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs & Provost James Holloway, Vice President for Research Ellen Fisher, Executive Vice President for Health Sciences Mike Richards, and HSC Vice President for Research Hengameh Raissy.
Those interested in attending are encouraged to register in advance due to limited seating availability. The organizers have also made provisions for virtual participation. Additionally, attendees have the opportunity to submit questions ahead of time through a provided form.
