City Councilors Dan Champine and Renee Grout recently participated in the Polar Plunge event held at Sierra Vista Swimming Pool. The event aimed to raise funds for free swimming lessons and support the polar bears and penguins at the ABQ BioPark.
Participants had the chance to take a plunge in the pool or slide down a large slide. The event also featured snacks and prizes for attendees.
