Bernalillo County has taken steps to support residents affected by power outages as temperatures are expected to decrease. The Westside Community Center, located at 1250 Isleta Blvd. SW, is now open to provide a warm space for those in the South Valley area of unincorporated Bernalillo County, outside Albuquerque city limits.
The center will be staffed by employees from BernCo and aims to offer a secure and heated environment for individuals and families who have lost power. Guests visiting the warming center will also have access to water and snacks during their stay.
