Next week, the City of Albuquerque will host a Small Business Resource Fair. The event is organized by the city's Small Business Office, Planning Department, and Job Training Albuquerque. It aims to connect attendees with over 30 organizations that focus on business development. Representatives from various city departments, lending institutions, and marketing agencies will be present to offer assistance.
The fair is scheduled for Tuesday, November 19, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the International District Library in Albuquerque. Attendance is free, but participants are encouraged to RSVP at abqedd.com/events. The first 100 attendees will receive a voucher for a local food truck.
Participants will have networking opportunities and learn about services provided by Job Training Albuquerque (JTA). JTA offers over 100 skills-based training programs across different industries at no cost to small businesses. Applications for these programs are currently open.
"Empowering our local entrepreneurs is vital for the growth and prosperity of Albuquerque," said Economic Development Director Max Gruner. "These Small Business Resource Fairs are designed to be a one-stop-shop for anyone looking to start or enhance their business."
The event is open to everyone interested in starting or expanding their business ventures.
