The Albuquerque community now has a new way to keep up with the City’s work on addressing homelessness by delivering housing stability and other services. The new online dashboard is available at cabq.gov/homeless.

"This dashboard is a great way for people to get updated information about how much work we’re doing to address homelessness," said Mayor Tim Keller.

The dashboard provides various metrics, including the number of people using City shelters, the number of families and individuals graduating from Housing Navigation programs into permanent housing, outreach connections, rides given to shelters, food boxes distributed, people provided with eviction prevention and utility assistance, and actions taken to address illegal camping.

Mayor Keller emphasized the importance of the work being done by the city teams, stating, "When our teams are connecting with folks on the street and getting them into a housing program or providing utility assistance, they are actively working to get folks off our streets and to prevent more people from becoming homeless. This work makes a real difference in our community and is a critical part of our work to keep Albuquerque safe for our families."

The dashboard, reflecting the collaborative efforts of multiple city departments, is updated monthly in the first week of every month. In addition to being available on the cabq.gov website, the data is also shared through a graphic on the city's social media channels.
