Today we'd like to feature the Forgotten Heroes funeral we held in September of last year, where 29 unclaimed deceased veterans were laid to rest with military honors.
Our Forgotten Heroes program provides a military burial for any New Mexico veteran unclaimed by family upon death. This program makes a funeral with military honors available to these honorably discharged veterans.
We thank the New Mexico Department of Veterans' Services for helping us make this ceremony special.
