Stay safe out there!
Our Bernalillo County Public Works crews tell us the snow is coming down pretty hard now in the mountain areas, and even causing some white-out conditions. About 3” accumulated in one hour.
The forecast is expecting the storm to stop about 5 p.m., leaving behind very cold temperatures which will cause lots of icy spots tonight and tomorrow.
Crews are staying late after work to plow and salt roads, and are planning to be out again tomorrow. They'll start with the Priority One roads and continue on those until they can get them cleared before moving on to other roads.
