Due to capacity limits, we are to unable accept any animal owner relinquishments at this time. Our facility currently has 180 animals in our custody. We apologize for the inconvenience and encourage you to utilize some of the resources below:

- Pet Finder: https://www.petfinder.com/pet.../dog-adoption/dog-rehoming/ 

-Ask Family and Friends: They may be interested in adopting your pet or may be able to temporarily foster him//her until you are able to find a permanent home.

- Search within your networks: Your workplace, community association, religious organization, neighborhood, or any other group you are affiliated with; you can do this by advertising in an internal newsletter, sending out a mass email, or posting flyers with a description and photos of your pet.

-Use social media: Post your pet’s photo and description to your Facebook page, animal-related Facebook pages, Next Door and other local pages you like.

- Post a classifies ad: Either online or in a printed publication. Popular options for Albuquerque residents are Craigslist and Albuquerque Journal.
