Starting August 10, the Bernalillo County Office of Senior and Social Services will be at the Raymond G. Sanchez Community Center every Wednesday to host a series of interactive info sessions regarding end of life planning.
These sessions will be every Wednesday through September 21, and are intended for BernCo residents 60+. All live sessions will be presented by Jane Westbrook, Aging in Place Specialist; Medical & End of Life Advocate; End of Life Options New Mexico trainer and speaker.
Some of the topics include:
- August 10: Home Sweet Home – safety, downsizing, stay or relocate, transfer on death deeds;
- August 17:Medical care and conversations, personal autonomy, dignity, and last years;
- August 24:Advance Health Care Directives (living wills)

Attendees will receive an End of Life Planning workbook and organizer, and pre-registration is required. Seating is limited, so don't wait reserve your spot!
