Bernalillo County Fire Rescue is reaching out to residents of the North Valley area, urging them to attend a wildfire preparedness town hall. The meeting is planned for Thursday, April 10, at 5:30 p.m. The event will take place at Taft Middle School, located at 620 Schulte Rd NW.
The initiative is part of a growing effort to mitigate the risks associated with increasingly unpredictable wildfire seasons. A subsequent town hall focusing on the East Mountains is scheduled for May 1 at Los Vecinos Community Center.
