Did you know? While plastic bags are not accepted in curbside recycling, many grocery stores and some retail stores offer customers a free drop-off for you to return clean, single-use plastic bags.
It takes a bit of advanced planning, but if you stockpile your plastic shopping bags it’s very easy to take them with you when you head to the store and drop them in the designated recycling return bin, usually located near the store entrance.
