Our "Celebration of Service” Building Dedication ceremony took place this morning to commemorate our one-year anniversary at our new Alvarado Square headquarters. We also unveiled our much anticipated updated branding with our new logo, colors, and tagline!
We'd like to give a big THANK YOU to everyone who made our move to Alvarado Square possible! - Especially to HB Construction who helped make our vision come to life.
Bernalillo County @ Alvarado Square opened for business in August of 2021, and our complex is the first Fitwell certified building in the state and is also a LEED gold certified building.
Alvarado Square houses the county’s administrative offices as well as the County Clerk, Assessor, Treasurer, a Sheriff’s Office center, Planning and Zoning services and various other departments.
In regards to our new brand, the new logo was a collaborative effort between the Bernalillo County graphics department and 3 Advertising. Our new logo is fresh, modern, friendly, and uncomplicated. Our new brand colors evoke the rich culture of Bernalillo County. From the traditional, handcrafted pottery, to the landscapes that surround us, the brilliant green of the large cottonwood trees, the dusty sagebrush, and the mighty evergreens that flank the Sandias, these colors are distinctively BernCo. Distinctively us.
Our new tagline, "Count on Us" lets residents know that we are there for them; we consistently work to provide excellent service and we are heavily involved in our community.
