On Monday, August 1, the Bernalillo County Fire Department will have a celebration of life ceremony for Lieutenant Matthew King, who served aboard Metro 2 on July 16.
The ceremony will take place at 11:30a.m. inside Tingley Coliseum located on the Expo New Mexico Fairgrounds, and doors will open at 10:30a.m.
The ceremony is open to the public and all who wish to pay their respects and honor the life of Lt. King may do so.
For those who are unable to attend, they will also be livestreaming the ceremony on their social media platforms Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Twitch.
