Bernalillo County –The Bernalillo County Treasurer’s Office is mailing delinquent tax notices as required by state law. Notices are mailed annually to residents who have past due property taxes.
The Treasurer’s Office encourages property owners to pay tax year 2019 in full by June 30, 2022 to avoid property transferring to the State of New Mexico Delinquent Property Tax Division and possible auction. Property owners whose taxes are delinquent for the 2020 and/or 2021 tax years are encouraged to call the Treasurer’s Office at 505-468-7031 or email treasurers@bernco.gov to make payment arrangements.
For fast and convenient service, taxes can be paid online at www.bernco.gov/treasurer or in person at Alvarado Square, 415 Silver Ave SW. Free customer parking on the southwest corner of Fifth and Silver.
