Bernalillo County Assessor Tanya R. Giddings is hosting a Veterans Outreach event with the New Mexico Department of Veterans' Services (NMDVS) at our Alvarado Square office from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
NMDVS representatives will be on site to assist veterans in receiving their tax-exemption certificates, which can be applied with the Assessor’s Office, toward a qualifying veteran’s property, for tax-savings purposes. This day will be the last chance veterans will have to apply these savings to their 2022 tax bill.
