State Sen. Candace Gould (R-Albuquerque) recently shared Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham's order on the extension of the statewide stay-at-home order on her Facebook page.

"The Governor officially extends emergency order to shelter in place until April 30th, essential travel is still allowed," Gould wrote. " Essential business including grocery stores shall limit occupancy to 20 percent. Masks are voluntary."

Grisham's latest order also stated that car dealerships, payday loan stores, and liquor stores are not essential and should not be open for business.

The governor's order said those who want to report anyone who is not following the new order can email NMSP.COVID19@state.nm.us, or report them to the police station’s non-emergency line.

“The state of New Mexico will explore and put into use all mechanisms for enforcement," Grisham said in a statement. "There are civil and criminal penalties for violating a public health order.”
