Bernalillo County will conduct a public information meeting on the Isleta Boulevard Corridor Reconstruction Project – Phase I. The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Los Padillas Community Center in Albuquerque.
This session is the second public meeting concerning the reconstruction project, which spans from Malpais Road to Luchetti Road. As the project enters its final design phase, attendees will receive updates on construction timelines and current design plans.
“Public input is crucial as we progress with this important infrastructure project in the South Valley,” stated Deputy County Manager of Public Works Elias Archuleta. “We encourage all community members to attend this meeting to remain involved and informed of the project’s progress as we continue this important work in the South Valley.”
The reconstruction initiative is a joint effort involving Bernalillo County, the New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT), and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). It aims to enhance safety and accessibility along Isleta Boulevard while supporting multiple transportation modes such as walking and biking.
