Albuquerque set to host premiere for Bands of Enchantment Season 4

The City of Albuquerque's Department of Arts & Culture, in collaboration with Elkhorn Entertainment, is preparing for the premiere of "Bands of Enchantment: Albuquerque Sessions Season 4." The event will take place at the KiMo Theatre on January 23, 2025, at 7 p.m., with doors opening an hour earlier.

This free event aims to celebrate a new season filled with impressive performances and innovative production. Tickets are available online while supplies last.

Mayor Tim Keller commented on the significance of the series, stating, "Bands of Enchantment is more than just a concert series, it’s a burst of energy that showcases local talent and downtown Albuquerque. It gives viewers around the world a taste of our diverse music scene and the dynamic artists who create unforgettable live music in our city.”

Season 4 promises to enhance how audiences experience live performances from home. Highlights include red carpet arrivals featuring local bands and artists, a sneak peek of Season 4 episodes, and screenings featuring musicians like Kevin Herig, Willajay + Hooks and the Huckleberries, Cimafunk, and Dust City Opera. Drinks will be available for purchase from Moonwalk Bar at 505 Central Food Hall.

Ken C. Peterson expressed his enthusiasm by saying, “We are honored to continue making this Emmy-Award-winning series for Albuquerque and New Mexico.” Vince Chavez added, “Four seasons, an Emmy win, three Emmy nominations, and two Telly awards. Let’s keep on rocking and rolling Albuquerque.”

Seasons 1 through 3 can be streamed on Amazon Prime, Tubi, and PBS. The fourth season will broadcast in February 2025. This project is supported by several organizations including Visit Albuquerque; New Mexico True; Albuquerque Economic Development; Legacy Development & Management; AMP Concerts; and New Mexico PBS.
