There was a single gas station in cities across Bernalillo County selling E15 gas at the lowest price of $2.87 per gallon in the week ending July 27, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.com.

The average reported cost of E15 gas in cities within Bernalillo County was $2.91 per gallon.

Of the 202 reported gas stations in cities within Bernalillo County, five offer E15 gas.

The $3.03 average reported price of E15 gas in New Mexico was unchanged from the previous week.

Gas prices in the U.S. have fluctuated greatly in recent times and many drivers are feeling the pain at the pump.

The cost of rising gas prices is made tougher on average U.S. families by rising inflation. Families had to pay nearly 8% more for average goods and food they needed.

Experts predict gasoline prices could drop below $3 this year before rebounding closer to $4 by year's end. GasBuddy forecasted a national average of $3.38 per gallon, down from $3.51.
