Commissioner Barboa is very proud to be supporting the 2022 Safari Run for Global Health! This important event raises money to support health access in rural Kenya. Walking and running options available.

Elite runners from Kenya will be leading off the race! Free kids running clinic at 8:30am! Opening ceremony led by Running Medicine.
The Safari Run is Global Health Partnerships' premier fundraiser. Global Health Partnerships (GHP) is a non-profit organization based out of Albuquerque, New Mexico. GHP is made up of medical professionals and other volunteers who work in partnership with the Kenya Health Ministry. Through this partnership, GHP provides support to the Kisesini Clinic in the form of medical supplies and training its nurses and community health volunteers. The emphasis of Global Health Partnerships in Kenya is on maternal and child health.
