Bernalillo County issued the following announcement on Mar. 30
Bernalillo County has produced an instructional video for residents to learn best behaviors and guidance for social distancing, to help stop the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the community.
Social distancing is a tactical response to the spread of COVID-19. It is designed to “flatten the curve,” or keep the rate of infections low to avoid overwhelming doctors and hospitals.
Certain best behaviors prevent COVID-19 from spreading in the community, including:
- Staying at least six feet away from others.
- Keeping outdoor group sizes at five or fewer.
- Avoiding unnecessary outside activity.
- Staying home when sick.
