State Rep. Kelly Fajardo, R-Los Lunas, shared a survey on her Facebook page seeking comments from her constituents on important issues.
"The 2020 Legislative session is just days away," Fajardo wrote on Jan. 15. "As I prepare for the start of the session it's important to me to hear from you! There will be a lot of critical bills that will be discussed and I appreciate your feedback and insights on these important issues."
The survey asks for comments on questions such as, "What is the most important thing I can do as your state representative in the upcoming legislative session?" and asked for thoughts on bills like one to legalize recreational marijuana, what to do with budget surpluses and a proposed red-flag law.
Fajardo also asked constituents to share what they felt were the biggest challenges facing the state and to list two or three outcomes they would like to see happen in the state this year.
