The City of Albuquerque is set to host the Westside Summerfest on Saturday, August 2, from 5 to 10 p.m. at Ventana Ranch Community Park. The event is free and open to families, featuring live performances from local bands across two stages.

The lineup for the East Stage includes JD Nash and the Rash of Cash at 5:15 p.m., Mala Maña at 7 p.m., and DB Gomez and the Bosque Boys at 8:30 p.m. On the West Stage, Picoso will perform at 5:30 p.m., followed by Tripple X Band 505 at 7:15 p.m., and Prism B!tch closing out the night at 8:45 p.m.

Mayor Tim Keller commented on the festival’s purpose. “Westside Summerfest is all about bringing people together to enjoy everything that makes Albuquerque special,” said Mayor Tim Keller. “From local music and food to art and family fun, it’s a perfect way to soak up summer.”

Food trucks will be present offering a range of options such as ice cream and tacos. Local breweries, wineries, and distilleries will serve drinks in The Cantina area. Artisans from Albuquerque will display handmade goods including jewelry and candles in The Shops section of the event. Activities for children include face painting, inflatable jumpies, and a climbing wall.

Parking for attendees is available for free at CNM Westside Campus with ADA-accessible shuttles transporting guests to Ventana Ranch Community Park throughout the evening. Limited accessible parking spaces are also provided at the park itself. Attendees are allowed to bring strollers, lawn chairs, canopies, and coolers on shuttles; however, glass items or alcohol are not permitted.

The festival welcomes pets on leashes and will proceed regardless of weather conditions. Glass containers and alcohol are prohibited in public parks during the event.
