ALBUQUERQUE - District 8 City Councilor Dan Champine announced the availability of a position on the Metropolitan Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. The board members serve in an advisory capacity to the Parks and Recreation Department and its Director, David Simon.
The Metropolitan Advisory Board conducts one public meeting each month. The current board convenes from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. on the first Tuesday of every month. The board addresses various matters pertinent to the community and local parks.
Applicants must be residents of Albuquerque and capable of attending the monthly meetings.
Applications are being accepted for the District 8 representative to the advisory board.
