Bernalillo County Commissioner Steven Michael Quezada and the Bernalillo County Parks, Recreation and Open Space Department are hosting a groundbreaking this Wednesday for phase two of the Mesa Del Sol Regional Outdoor Sports Complex.
This is the next phase of construction of the county’s 32 field sports complex, and will enable the facility to attract regional tournament events with large participant and spectator bases.
This phase will include four new synthetic turf fields with a variety of tournament amenities. Completion of the project enables the facility to provide a home for larger events for a variety of user groups including soccer, football, cricket, cross country and lacrosse. More info:
