The Bernalillo County Office of Criminal Justice and Behavioral Health Initiatives is seeking new members for a variety of committees that work in conjunction with the Behavioral Health Initiative (BHI).
The committees of the BHI provide input and technical assistance for creating a regional behavioral health care system. Committees are comprised of community members with a direct experience and knowledge of behavioral health issues, either as individuals with lived experience, family members, or other related behavioral health community-based interest, subject matter experts that are professionals with behavioral health, housing, criminal justice, or related expertise and technical advisors to provide authoritative background literature, studies and data on particular projects brought before each subcommittee that may be helpful in the vetting process.
