Great news! Lots of rain means we've been able to re-open East Mountain Open Spaces! The only the exception is Carlito Springs which remains closed due to renovations.
The burn ban enacted by the County Commission in May on open burning and fireworks in the unincorporated areas of the county, outside the city limits of Albuquerque remains in effect. Bernalillo County Parks, Recreation and Open Space
Open burning is any fire that is not in a contained space such as a campfire or piled brush. The fireworks ban restricts the sale and use of aerial fireworks.
