An Albuquerque man has pleaded guilty in federal court to dealing firearms without a license and possessing a machine gun conversion device. According to court documents, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) identified Joe Jasso, 20, through an Instagram account in December 2022. The account was suspected of selling illegal machine gun conversion devices that modify firearms to fire fully automatic.
A Gallup woman has been sentenced to a five-year term of probation after pleading guilty to involuntary manslaughter in connection with a drunken rollover crash that resulted in the death of an 8-month-old boy. The incident occurred on February 11, 2022.
