Explora Science Center in Albuquerque is set to host a special event featuring augmented, virtual, and mixed reality technologies. The event is organized by Sandia National Laboratories as part of its seventh annual XR Conference on July 23.
The conference brings together industry leaders, developers, and technology enthusiasts to explore extended reality (XR). During the Sandia XR Demo Day at Explora, visitors will have the opportunity to experience live demonstrations of advanced human-machine interfaces, immersive virtual reality applications, and robotics. These demonstrations will include contributions from Sandia, other national laboratories, universities, and industry participants.
Matt Gallegos from Sandia’s research and development team commented on the event: “This event showcases the leading edge of immersive technologies. We aim to inspire curiosity and engagement in XR, whether you’re a student, a developer or simply curious about the future.”
